Officials say a man was struck by a train at the Catherine Street railroad crossing in Norwalk early Saturday morning.
The accident happened just after 12:45 a.m. Officials say the man was lying alongside the tracks with serious injuries to his right arm and right leg.
He was semi-conscious when firefighters and paramedics transported him to the hospital.
