Several people were injured in a 2-alarm house fire in New Milford,  fire officials say.

Several were injured and 11 people displaced in a two-alarm house fire in New Milford,  fire officials say.
The fire broke out inside a home on Housatonic Avenue around 2 a.m.
New Milford fire officials say several people were injured. 
Fire officials say 11 people were evacuated from the burning home and several were transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation and minor burns.   
One neighbor says they woke up to what appeared to be dense fog but realized it was smoke and there was a fire.
The fire was brought under control within an hour. 
The American Red Cross is working to help those displaced. 
The state police and state fire marshal's office are investigating the fire.
