Officials say part of a tree fell into a tree worker on Beacon View Drive in Fairfield Saturday afternoon.

They say when the tree limb fell, it crushed the worker's legs and pinned them.

First responders say fallen debris made it challenging to free the worker. The worker was eventually taken to a local hospital.
