Public safety officials are warning people across Connecticut to take it easy amid the extremely hot weather.
Events across the state are going on as planned, including the Great Barnum Street Parade at Seaside Park.
The parade took special precautions to make sure attendees stayed hydrated.
Temperatures were soaring into the upper-90s Sunday, with humidity levels making it feel even hotter.
