Parents at a Bridgeport charter school say their children's bus rides to and from school have been overcrowded.
Parents of Park City Prep students say there is no room for their children to sit on the bus. They say their children are sometimes forced to share one seat with three other students.
Interim Superintendent Fran Rabinowitz says six buses are designated to the charter school. She says three children are allowed in one seat, but recognizes three may not fit. She says they are working to fix the problem.
Rabinowitz says they brought an additional bus to the school for Monday's dismissal. A transportation director was also on hand to monitor the situation. Rabinowitz says they will add another bus to the route if needed.
