A parking garage attendant was robbed by a masked gunman early Wednesday morning in Stamford.
The robbery happened just after 1 a.m. at the garage on Station Place. Police say the attendant was on duty at the back entrance of the garage when the suspect approached her.
The suspect allegedly showed her the gun and told her, "Give me your money or you'll die." The attendant handed over $3,000 in cash and the suspect fled on Atlantic Street. The woman was not harmed in the robbery.
Police say there have not been problems before at the garage, but two train commuters were robbed nearby in the past two weeks.
