Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward's personal belongings up for auction
The personal belongings of actors Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward will be up for auction at Sotheby’s in New York City until June 12.
There are three categories of items up for auction, including items from their Westport home, racing memorabilia and watches worn by Newman.
The collection totals more than 300 items belonging to the Westport couple during their 50-year-plus marriage.
Some specific items up for auction include Woodward’s wedding dress, props from various films and scripts from projects throughout their careers.
Newman, famous for his roles in films such as "Cool Hand Luke" and "The Color of Money," died in 2008. Woodward, who won the Academy Award for best actress for "The Three Faces of Eve" in 1958. She is 93 and has been living with Alzheimer's disease since 2007.
