Stamford police are investigating an afternoon dirt bike crash that left one teenager dead and his brother critically injured. Authorities say the accident happened in the woods near Long Ridge Road. They say the brothers were both riding their bikes when they apparently sideswiped each other. Neighbors have identified the brothers as 14-year-old Kevin Bella and 16-year-old Brandon Bella. Investigators have confirmed that Kevin has died and that Brandon has been hospitalized with serious injuries. Neighbors also say the teens' father died last month.
