Fairfield police say 10 men are facing charges following an undercover sex bust involving minors.
They say the suspects range in age from 19 to 64. Most of them are from Connecticut, but some came from out of state.
Officers say they teamed up with former NBC News reporter and Stamford resident Chris Hansen to make those arrests over the weekend.
They say Hansen's production team helped them monitor the suspects. The investigation began with inappropriate text messages the suspects allegedly exchanged with someone they thought was a child.
Police say the suspects made plans to meet with the alleged child in a Fairfield home. Instead, they were greeted by Hansen and police.
News 12 has been told that the bust was part of a future program called "Hansen vs. Predator." The episode will likely air within the next two months
