Three people, including two children, were found dead inside the garage of a vacant home in Norwalk Monday, in what police are calling a murder-suicide.
Elizabeth Street was closed for hours as police investigated the deaths of 5-year-old Gessell Moncada and 4-year-old Jesus Moncada. The children were found dead along with their 27-year-old father, Yimi Moncada.
Officers first responded to 8 Elizabeth St. around 7:30 a.m. after a hang-up call to 911. Police say the incident appears to be a murder-suicide connected to family violence.

Investigators have not confirmed their causes of death.
Officials say the house detached from the garage is vacant and expected to be torn down. They have not confirmed the Moncada family's connection to the garage.
"The police station is probably a 30-second walk away so it's just kind of surprising, the location," says John Gatt, who lives nearby.
Police say this is an isolated incident, and that there is no danger to the public.
Norwalk Public Schools said in a statement, "It is with deep sorrow that we learned today about the deaths of Rowayton Elementary kindergarten student Giselle Moncada-Valdavinos and her little brother Jesus, along with their father, in a senseless act. Our hearts go out to their family and friends, and we ask the entire community to hold them in your prayers."
