Police in Monmouth County say five men were injured Saturday in a drive-by shooting.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says that the shooting happened around 11:31 p.m. Saturday near Atlantic and Monmouth avenues.
Officials say that the five victims were with a group of people when a car pulled up and opened fire on them before driving away.
Police say all five victims were treated for gunshot wounds. Two victims have been released. The other victims remain hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening. The victims ranged in age from 25 to 31 years old.
No arrests have been made.
