Police: Bridgeport man accused of hit-and-run with rental car
Fairfield police say a Bridgeport man is facing charges for leaving the scene of an accident in a rental car parking lot.
Police say 40-year-old Ralston Brown rented a car, crashed into a parked car Monday, and then took off from the Hertz lot.
Officers say Brown claims his sister was driving at the time of the crash, but police say Brown was uncooperative with officers when asked to contact her.
He's charged with evading responsibility and interfering with an officer.
