Police in New Haven are asking for the public's help identifying the body of a man found in the Quinnipiac River. Authorities say the body was spotted yesterday afternoon near the Grand Avenue Bridge.

Police discover man's body in Quinnipiac River
Police in New Haven are asking for the public's help identifying the body of a man found in the Quinnipiac River.
Authorities say the body was spotted yesterday afternoon near the Grand Avenue Bridge.
Police say he was a white man in his 50s with a pale complexion, unkempt grey hair, a beard and moustache as well as a scar on his chest that appears to be from surgery years ago.
Police are unsure how he died, and say his death is being treated as a potential crime.
