Police: Driver fled after striking bicyclist
Police in Norwalk are trying to track down the driver who struck a bicyclist early Saturday morning and then fled the scene.
Authorities say a male bicyclist was struck near Nathan Hale Middle School on Strawberry Hill Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. The victim told police that the driver left the scene.
The bicyclist was taken to Norwalk Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a black Honda sedan.
