A major water main break has been repaired Thursday in eastern Greenwich.

The break happened on Morningside Drive Wednesday night.

Police say most of the area was without water, specifically Cos Cob and Riverside.

Aquarion Water Company responded to the scene and crews worked to repair the break.

The repairs were completed on the main Thursday morning but police say crews are still working on the roadway and traffic is down to one lane.
