A Fairfield bank was robbed by a man armed with a gun, police say.
The incident happened Tuesday inside of the People's Bank inside Stop and Shop on Kings Highway around 4:30 p.m.
Police say the suspect slipped the teller a note and took out a gun before running off with cash and then getting into a car.
The suspect is described as a white man with shoulder-length hair who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall.
Police released a surveillance image of the suspect who was wearing a black colored hat, gray colored button-down shirt, and a dark-colored tie.
A K-9 was brought in to track the suspect but did not find him.
Police say it's the second time in two-weeks that the bank has been robbed.
However, police do not believe the robberies are connected.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Department Quality of Life Unit at 203-254-4606.
