Norwalk police say a man is facing charges tonight after being caught walking down a city street with a loaded gun.
According to investigators, Ibo Boone was spotted by an officer early this morning near Lexington Avenue and Kossuth Street holding a bag.
Police say Boone jumped over a fence and dropped the bag before he was finally stopped on Lexington Avenue. The bag allegedly contained a loaded weapon.
The Hour newspaper reports that Norwalk police have considered Boone a person of interest in several shootings of rival gang members.
Boone is due back in court next week.
