Police have identified a man found dead near a Watertown nature trail as 32-year-old Corey Scarduzio, of Willimantic.

Scarduzio's body was found before 8 a.m. Saturday when a driver called 911 after they saw an unresponsive male near the trail.

First responders pronounced Scarduzio dead at the scene.

Police say the circumstances of the death are ongoing and the cause and manner of death is still pending the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
