Bridgeport police have identified the type of vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash earlier this month.
Police said in a news conference Tuesday that they believe it was a white BMW X3 that repeatedly hit 51-year-old Evelyn Agyei's vehicle.
Officers say it drove her off the road and into a tree on Boston Avenue, near Seaview Avenue. Agyei was reportedly on her way to work with her 11-year-old son in the car at the time of the incident.
Police say they are still working on leads but have yet to find the person responsible. They say they still need people with information to come forward.
Agyei's family members are pleading with the public to help find the driver responsible so that they can get some closure. They say she was a loving wife, a mother of three, a certified nursing assistant and a Sunday school teacher at her church.
Her son stood by his father at the news conference on Tuesday, wearing an eye patch and a neck brace.
