Fairfield police are investigating the death of a 27-year-old man who was pulled unconscious from a neighbor's pool last night.
Officials say Christopher Perez's body was found at a home on Evergreen Hill Road.
Police say Perez was swimming while house-sitting for neighbors with his 14-year-old step-sister. They say she ran to get help after she saw him struggling in the water.
Police say his parents pulled him out, but he was unconscious. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators say they don't know if Perez drowned or if he died due to a possible underlying medical condition.
