A man walked into Bridgeport Hospital with a gunshot wound to his genitals, police say.

The man walked into the emergency room Wednesday around 10 p.m.

The victim, 61, did not cooperate with investigators and offered hospital staff few details about how he was shot, officials say.

The wound was non-life-threatening.

“We are still in the process of investigating this case,” City of Bridgeport spokesperson Rowena White told News 12.

“We will have more information later,” White says.
