Police in Norwalk are looking for the public’s help in tracking down a man who they say tried to lure a jogger into his car.
It happened Thursday night around 5 p.m. in the area of Pine Hill Avenue and Calf Pasture Beach Road.
According to police, the suspect came up to the jogger in a small, red four-door car. Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for a vehicle matching that description.
Police say the man stopped the person as they were jogging and tried to entice them into his car. They say he did not try to touch the jogger, who then ran away and called 911.
Police describe the suspect as a white man with white-blonde hair, blue eyes, and in his 20s to 30s.
They say he was wearing black and gold eyeglasses when he approached the jogger.
