Police say a woman from New York City has been charged with burglarizing homes in Greenwich while the victims were attending funeral services.
Latonia Stewart, 28, of the Bronx was extradited to Connecticut earlier this week. She was being held in Westchester on similar charges.
Greenwich police say Stewart took more than $75,000 in jewelry from two homes she knew were going to be empty by reading the local obituaries.
