Norwalk police are asking the public to help track down a gunman who opened fire in broad daylight Friday afternoon, and are investigating if the shooting was gang-related. Authorities say the shooting happened on Grandview Avenue near Kellogg Street, wounding a 22-year-old male. Neighbors say the victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Norwalk Hospital by a passing driver. The shooting also prompted police to lock down nearby Jefferson, Kendall and Ponus Ridge elementary schools. The victim had been taken to the ICU, but there is no word on his current condition.
