Police renewed their call for help Tuesday solving a cold-case double homicide in Norwalk.
There is a $50,000 reward in the case.
On Aug. 6, 2011, someone shot and killed Iroquois Alston, 27, and Rickita Smalls, 22, in a car on Avenue B. Relatives say the two were dating. Alston left behind two young children.
April Barron, Alston's mother, says she hopes the reward will lead police to a break in the case.
Norwalk police are asking anyone with information on the case to contact them.
"Our detectives stay in touch with both families on a regular basis, and it is certainly their goal to find the person or persons responsible for these murders," says Lt. Terry Blake, of the Norwalk Police Department.
