Police: Stamford man faces charges for stolen credit cards
Police say a Stamford man is facing charges for using stolen credit cards across the Northeast.
Joseph Saldana, 29, was using the stolen credit cards to buy food in the city and train tickets from New York to Stamford and Boston, according to police.
Police also say he may have been using up to 10 different stolen credit cards.
Saldana is said to have stolen multiple identities in the area. He is also being sought by Amtrak police for a weapons violation.
Police are advising people to check their credit and bank statements to assure they are not a victim of identity theft.
