Police: Stamford man sexually assaulted 6th-grader
A Stamford man is being held on $100,000 bond for allegedly sexually assaulting a sixth-grader.
Police say they arrested Christopher Jonathan Hernandez-Lucero, 19, Thursday night for the alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl on the city's West Side.
Investigators say the incident occurred a few weeks ago. They say Hernandez-Lucero was dating the victim's sister and living with the family at the time of the alleged assault.
Lt. Diedrich Hohn says the victim and other children in the home are now in foster care.
Hohn says the victim is very distraught and will be getting counseling.
Police say Hernandez-Lucero has no prior arrest record. He is due back in court in two weeks.
