Police: Worker dead after fall from Westport roof

Westport police and federal safety officials are investigating after a roofing contractor was killed and a coworker was seriously hurt when they both fell from a three-story roof. Police say it happened

Police: Worker dead after fall from Westport roof
Westport police and federal safety officials are investigating after a roofing contractor was killed and a coworker was seriously hurt when they both fell from a three-story roof.
Police say it happened at a home near Compo Beach on Norwalk Avenue just before 1 p.m. Sunday.
According to police, emergency workers found one of the men dead at the scene while the second roofer was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say no foul play is suspected.
