Protesters in Downtown Stamford rallied Sunday to defend allegations against the former director of the city's animal shelter.
Supporters of Laurie Hollywood protested in front of the Ferguson Library against allegations that Hollywood did not report dogs with a history of aggression and subsequently falsified documents to place those dogs in homes.
Hollywood was removed from her job and is facing charges.
As News 12 has reported, a judge recently granted Hollywood's attorney a chance to review all of the city records pertaining to the case, including documents that were allegedly falsified.
Hollywood is due back in court in August.
