Public Works employees in Newtown are preparing for what is going to be a very long two days of storm cleanup.
They have 2,500 tons of salt on hand, along with thousands of yards of sand.
Once the storm hits, crews will work throughout the night until all the roads are clear.
With many students on distance learning, workers say some plowing priorities will change.
Public Works crews say it doesn't matter much whether it's 3 inches or 30, the equipment is set to handle it, the materials are set to handle it - they just react.
