Tony and Mike have officially returned to radio through a Facebook Live show.

Tony Reno, who has been on airwaves in Connecticut since the 80s, teamed up with fellow radio personality Mike Bellamy on WICC about 10 years ago. "Tony and Mike in the Morning" quickly developed a following due to the duo's chemistry.

 

A year and a half ago, Mike was let go after a company buyout, and Tony lost his job due to the pandemic. That didn't sotp their fans from wanting a regular fix of the unique talk-format programming that left an indelible mark on Connecticut listeners.

They had a reunion show on Facebook in July called "Tony and Mike's New Adventure," and they say it was so popular they decided to keep going, and are now on their eighth episode.

 

The duo teamed up with Doing It Local founder Steve Krauchick a few episodes into the show, which increased their reach, making the program a regular feature on Krauchick's Facebook page.
