A union rally is scheduled for Thursday outside Sikorsky Aircraft, which may result in a traffic nightmare. Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa Jr. and thousands of members are expected to converge at Sikorsky's Gate 2 along Route 110 for the noon demonstration. Stratford police have been keeping traffic moving ever since the strike began more than two weeks ago. On Thursday, they'll be forced to shut down at least two lanes of traffic, likely for more than four hours. The rally will be held from noon until 2 p.m. with the two lanes likely to be closed beginning at 10 a.m. and re-opening between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Drivers are being urged to avoid the area during the rally.
