Fordham University's football training camp is underway as the Rams prepare for their 125th season.

Quarterback John Skelton is returning with confidence. "I had a good finish the last season," Skelton said. "I feel like I need to lead this year." The sophomore from Texas started in the last six games.

Returning players are also getting accustomed to a new offense. Coordinator Ed Argast said while the squad is young, he has some players with speed who'll complement the quarterback.The Rams' opener is September 1 at Rhode Island.
