Stratford officials are still working to determine the cause of a fire that left a family of seven displaced during the holidays.
The fire broke out after 11 p.m. Monday at a house on Cheshire Street, just south of the Merritt Parkway.
When firefighters arrived, heavy flames were coming from two windows and racing into the attic.
Everyone was able to get out safely, but the home has major fire and smoke damage.
The Red Cross is helping the family find a place to stay until those repairs are made.
