Residents in Stratford are hoping something will be done to improve safety at a busy intersection following a serious crash Wednesday night.
Residents want a tree gone that they say creates a blind spot for drivers trying to turn off Yukon Street.
According to police, the one-car crash Wednesday night sent the driver to the hospital with serious injuries.
The car flipped and ended up on its roof.
Police had the area blocked off for a period of time as they investigated the crash.
Neighbors tell News 12 Connecticut the tree has been an issue for some time, and there have been many accidents in the area.
