Some people are breaking the rules at Mianus River State Park in Stamford, but they say it's all for the love of their dogs.
Despite a strict leash law, some say they let their pets run free at the park as long as they behave.
Most people said owners should use their discretion, meaning if their dog isn't socialized or friendly, it should be on the leash.
