Roadcheck 2012, Connecticut's three-day program meant to raise awareness about commercial vehicle safety, kicked off today.
DMV inspectors say they will be increasing patrols on the state's highways for truck violations. Most common violations include following too closely, unsafe lane changes, improper tires, broken lights and fatigued drivers.
Roadcheck 2012 ends on Thursday.
