A monthlong celebration of salsa music is underway in Orchard Beach.
The Bronx Salsa Fest celebrates the music genre, as well as the culture's strong roots in the borough.
Today's event was presented by Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
Headlining the day's musical performance was the Mambo Legends Orchestra
The next concert series will be held Wednesday at Wave Hill. It begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
