Stamford officials along with Gov. Dannel Malloy are touting a new deal that could bring 400 new jobs over the next five years.
Malloy says that Sema4, a company that specializes in health information technology and genetic testing, is expanding its headquarters on Ludlow Street.
The business also plans to open a new lab in Stamford and expand along the Branford shoreline.
The state is giving Sema4 a $6 million loan for the project. Part of the loan will be reduced if the company meets certain benchmarks.
