The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities. While the truck caught fire after hitting the utility pole, no injuries were reported.
The road was closed as crews worked to repair the damaged utility pole. It has since reopened.
Officials are reminding residents to stay clear of downed power lines and never attempt to touch them. Instead, they should immediately call 911.
