Sen. Richard Blumenthal will be at Atlantic Seafood Market in Old Saybrook today urging the TSA to change its privacy policies after agents shared a picture of a 20 pound lobster.
Atlantic Seafood criticized the agency and the picture it released on its social media page.
In a Facebook post, the owner of Atlantic Seafood Market says the TSA should "leave our personal property alone." She also criticized the way the agent held the lobster, saying he could have snapped off a claw by putting all of its weight on its joints.
TSA agents found the lobster in a container at Boston's Logan International Airport.
According to the agency, it's allowed to share pictures of personal belongings so long as the passengers' information isn't shared.
