Sen. Chris Murphy is hosting a town hall meeting in Westport tonight on the crisis in Iraq.
The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in room 201 at Westport Town Hall.
This comes as Iraqi troops are still battling to try to drive the Islamist militants out of major cities.
Air force strikes appear to mark a turn as Iraqi security forces claim they destroyed ISIS cells in Anbar.
There are also reports that Iraqi forces have retaken the city of Tikrit, Saddam Hussein's hometown.
