Settlement reached in fatal Orange crash

The family of a 19-year-old killed in a crash with a Milford police cruiser has accepted a $2.5 million settlement. Frank and Susan Servin have agreed to settle state and federal lawsuits in the case.

The family of a 19-year-old killed in a crash with a Milford police cruiser has accepted a $2.5 million settlement.
Frank and Susan Servin have agreed to settle state and federal lawsuits in the case.
Their son, David Servin, and his girlfriend Ashlie Krakowski, were killed in Orange in 2009 when police say their car was hit by a speeding Milford police cruiser.
The police officer was fired and is facing criminal charges.
