Four people who sued Metro-North after a derailment last year have reached a settlement.
More than 70 people were hurt when a train derailed and then was struck by another train in Bridgeport.
Lawyers representing the victims say the passengers are the first involved in the lawsuit to settle.
Details on the settlement are not being disclosed.
