Several homes were burglarized in Milford Friday night, according to police.

They say most of the burglaries happened between 4 and 8 p.m. Police say the suspects used rocks to break through back windows.

As News 12 reported, about 19 homes had been burglarized since December before Friday night's incidents.

Police did send out an alert to city residents warning them of the home invasions.

"We are currently working very hard at trying to form some kind of a nexus with the victims, trying to see if we can marry something - a cleaning service, a trash service," says officer Mike Devito.

News 12 is told that a gray, older-model sedan was spotted in the area of one of the burglaries.
