The two candidates in one of Connecticut?s closest Congressional races will be facing off again as both officially received their party nominations Monday.
Incumbent Representative Chris Shays (R-CT) narrowly defeated Selectwoman Diane Farrell (D-Westport) 52 percent to 48 percent in 2004. Shays received his 11th nomination for the 4th Congressional District at Norwalk City Hall Monday, while Farrell celebrated her nomination at Westport Town Hall.
Both ceremonies were packed with supporters in what experts predict will be another hotly contested race.
