Sikorsky Aircraft has landed a new contract.
They were just awarded a joint contract to make more than 100 helicopters for the military.
The Department of Defense says the U.S. Army and Navy are buying 102 Sikorsky helicopters for $1.3 billion in the coming year.
The order is expected to save jobs here in Connecticut.
