Parents and students of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Academy in White Plains are hoping for a miracle to keep the doors open at their school.
Dozens gathered in a silent protest Sunday on school grounds in their ongoing fight to stop the sale of the 16-acre campus.
Parents who spoke with News 12 say the sisters would rather sell the land to a developer that would tear down the landmark school and build condos on the land.
The North Broadway campus includes a convent, an elementary school, a high school and other historic buildings.
All buildings must be vacated by July 1, 2015.
