With another heat advisory in effect Monday, families found ways to beat the heat at splash pads, but not all of them are open because of the pandemic.
The splash pad at Indian Ledge Park in Trumbull has reopened amid the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Bridgeport and Norwalk are keeping all of their splash pads closed.
The Fairfield splash pad at Lake Mohegan is drawing bigger crowds due to a second expected heat wave this week.
Parents say they are being cautious when visiting the splash pad at Lake Mohegan.
One parents tell News 12 that if the splash pad becomes too crowded, they leave and go to the beach.
