Medicare Part D enrollment deadline looms on the horizon.
Seniors must choose the plan that fits their specific medication needs. If they don?t, the choice will be made for them. In that instance, an individual could get stuck with a plan that doesn?t cover all their necessary prescription drugs. There are 17 health insurance companies in Connecticut with 44 different prescription plans.
If a person misses the deadline, they?ll have to wait for open enrollment in 2007. Seniors who need help are urged to stop by their local senior center with a list of all their medications.
